If you appreciate a truly elite burger, skip the over-hyped spots and head straight to Trad Room in Bed-Stuy. Their Japanese-izakaya menu is great, but the absolute sleeper hit on the board is the Wagyu cheeseburger. It is, by far, my favorite burger in the city right now.

The Perfect Order Blueprint

  • The Temp: Request it cooked medium.

  • The Sides: Pair it with their regular style fries.

  • The Insider Note: The kitchen can occasionally get a little heavy-handed on the seasoning line. Just politely ask them to take it easy with the salt.

Once that seasoning is dialed back just a touch, it is low-key culinary perfection. Go grab a bite.
